MOELCI-II energizes 19 households in Cavinte, Ozamiz City




OZAMIZ CITY, Misamis Occidental - At least 19 households, beneficiaries of the Social Fund of the Misamis Occidental II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (MOELCI-II) Board of Directors in Ozamiz City South District, were successfully energized, on April 16, 2024.

This initiative marked a significant occasion for the community, bringing light and progress to their doorsteps.

Present during the energization event was Board of Director Mary Therese Romero-Sy, whose unwavering dedication to community welfare was palpable.

Director Sy emphasized her commitment to ensuring that every household in her district has access to electricity, emphasizing the cooperative's mandate to illuminate even the most remote areas.

The energization efforts focused on Barangay Cavinte, Ozamiz City, where the 19 households eagerly awaited the transformative power of electricity.



As part of the initiative, beneficiaries were provided with free house wiring materials, including 30 meters of service drop wire and a 1-kilowatt hour meter, ensuring a seamless transition to electrification.

Also, MOELCI-II was warmly greeted by the Barangay officials of Cavinte, who extended their heartfelt gratitude for a job well done.
