DOST turns over enhanced packaging of Complementary Food Products in Ozamiz

DOST Misamis Occidental recently turned over packaging materials with FDA-compliant label designs for complementary food products produced by the Ozamiz City Complementary Food Production Facility (OCCFPF).

These products were developed by DOST-FNRI as part of their Malnutrition Reduction Program.

The provision of packaging materials was made possible through a DOST CEST project for LGU Ozamiz City.

In recent years, the OCCFPF also received technical assistance on packaging enhancement, equipment, and technology training for the production of DOST-FNRI complementary food products.

These efforts enable OCCFPF to produce food products aimed at improving children's nutrition. This initiative aligns with DOST's commitment to supporting the campaign against child malnutrition. (DOST Misamis Occidental)
