DOST trains Tinaburan Subanen Women's association in meat processing

Department of Science and Technology (DOST) trains Tinaburan Subanen Women's Association from Tudela, Misamis Occidental in meat processing.

Through the Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology (CEST) Program, the Tinaburan Subanen Women's Association of Tudela, Mis. Occ. was provided with food processing equipment namely meat bowl cutter, meat grinder, stainless steel production table, and chest freezer that enable them to make and market meat products as a livelihood opportunity.

 

DOST also capacitated the members of the women's association in using the provided technology to produce tocino, burger patties, and longganisa. (DOST Misamis Occidental)
