Ozamiz City boosts police patrol with 8 brand new motorcycles

In a significant move aimed at enhancing the safety and security of Ozamiz City, Mayor Atty. Henry "Indy" F. Oaminal, Jr. and the Asenso Ozamiz administration led the turnover of eight brand-new Yamaha NMAX motorcycles to the Ozamiz City Police Station (OCPS) held at the OCPS grounds graced by Police Major (PMAJ) Dennis P. Tano and Misamis Occidental Police Provincial Director PCOL Dwight D. Monato.

The event, which included a blessing of the motorcycles, was a testament to the unwavering commitment of Mayor Indy and his administration to support the Ozamiz City Police in maintaining peace and order within the city. These motorcycles represent a significant addition to the police's street patrol capabilities, enabling faster response times and improved mobility for officers on duty.

In his speech during the ceremony, Mayor Indy emphasized the vital role of the police force in creating a secure environment for the citizens of Ozamiz. These motorcycles will enable our officers to respond swiftly to emergencies and maintain a visible presence in the community, deterring crime."

Meanwhile, PCOL Monato echoed these sentiments, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the local government and law enforcement agencies in achieving lasting peace and development.
