MisOcc inaugurates roads, school buildings, bridges for education, connectivity
Misamis Occidental Governor Henry Oaminal vowed to the continue building vital major infrastructure in the province as he led the inauguration on Tuesday of the Concreting of Sinacaban-San Isidro Provincial Road, Construction of Libertad Bajo Integrated School Sinacaban and newly widening of Permanent Bridge Colupan Br. (B01144MN) along Ozamiz-Oroquieta Road Misamis Occidental.
Gov Oaminal said that this month of October, he will double his hard work for the Misamisnon.
“Kini atong pag-inaugurate sa karsada, atong provincial roads, ato pod i-inaugurate ang duha ka skwelahan sa Libertad Bajo and then kini sa atong probinsya hapit na nato ma maximize gyud nga ang shortage sa classrooms ma address na and then atong paga-inaugurahan ang widening sa bridge sa Colupan. Kining maong inauguration, diri nato mapakita nga ang atong development programs duna gyung kahumanan para ma feel gyud sa mga katawhan,” he emphasized.
He also recognizes the efforts of Second District Rep. Sancho Fernando “Ando” Oaminal for funding the school building and other infrastructure projects in the second district.
For his part, Sinacaban Mayor Dello Lood expressed gratitude to Governor Oaminal for his support, as he anticipates and hopes for continued collaboration in future projects that would fuel the province’s progress in the coming years.
“Grasya ni nga atong nadawat, kini atong gi-inaugurahan Karon, kana tungod sa maayong panglantaw, pagmahal sa atong Governor nga ang iyang vision nga mao sad ang atong vision nga kitang mga Misamisnon Magpuyong Malinawon, Malambuon ug Malipayon.Nakita nato nga ang atong dalan nagmalambuon na so ang nagpuyo nagmalipayon na,”he said.
The roads project, totaling length of 600 linear meter carriageway width of 5.00 meters, undefined shoulder width of 1.50 meters on both sides, and a lined canal. It connects the Libertad Bajo to Barangay Katipunan in Sinacaban which was allotted a budget of more than P9 million. Also, the Colupan bridge cost more than PHP12 million.
The road and bridge project provides safety to the traveling public and creates economic activity among neighboring municipalities.
Meanwhile, the classroom buildings at the Libertad Bajo Integrated School Sinacaban, amounting to more than P18 million, will cater to elementary and high school learners. The classroom will provide a more convenient learning space for learners of the remote school.
Improved physical connectivity will always be a vital facet of the province's expansion efforts, as outlined in the Asenso administration.
That is why the provincial government through the effort of Governor Oaminal is more determined than ever to pursue projects that would realize the dream of a stronger and more interconnected Misamis Occidental.(Shaine Mae R. Nagtalon/PGMO)
