The mayor also encouraged the learners to pursue their college education because the city government is always ready to help and continue to do its part in providing all the necessities for the students in Ozamiz.

In her message, Vice Mayor Simplicia "Bebe" Neri urged the learners to value the importance of education. She shared that the local government units are providing the learner's tablets so that they will not be behind here in the city of Ozamiz.

“This is one of the strong programs of our city government. Our city mayor is looking into the importance of education that's why we have to shell out for your own good so that while you are on your journey, you are provided with such necessary gadgets,” she said.

For their part, the students are grateful for the tablets and promised to use the device wisely and with care.

"I'm grateful to the administration today because we were given a free tablet so it's very helpful for us now that we're in college. Of course, we'll take care of it because it's free," Honey Sheen Laguros of Labo National High School expressed.

Oaminal reminded its beloved Ozamiznon students to take care and value the tablets just as the local government values their education. (SMRN/PIA-10/Misamis Occidental)
