Sen. Tolentino turns over 2,000 food packs in MisOcc

To help Misamisnons who were severely affected by flooding and landslides, Senator Francis Tolentino turned over 2,000 food packs in Misamis Occidental.


The food packs contained rice, corned beef, beef loaf, noodles, coffee, and energy drink received by recipients from Oroquieta City, and the municipalities of Clarin, Tudela, and Sinacaban town held at the Capitol Grounds, Oroquieta City on January 25.


During the turnover, Patrick Andrie Tolentino, son of the Senator personally handed over the food packs assistance to the Local Government Units (LGUs).


“Kami po ay naatasan ng butihing Senator Francis Tolentino na kayo ay madalaw upang makamusta at makaabot ng kanyang pakikiramay at munting tulong sa inyo na lubos na naapektuhan ng malawakang pagbaha at pagguho ng lupa dulot ng tuloy-tuloy ng pag ulan na nagsimula noong kapaskuhan sanhi ng Shear line and wind convergence,” he said.

Meanwhile, on behalf of Governor Henry S. Oaminal, Vice Governor Rowena “Weng” Gutierrez extended her gratitude for the assistance given by the Senator.

For his message, Sinacaban Mayor Dello Lood was very thankful for the aid of Senator Tolentino saying,”In behalf of the people of the province of Misamis Occidental, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the good Senator sa tulong na ipinadalo nyo (for the help you sent).”
