The widened road along Calamba to Baliangao ensures the transportation safety of individuals, promotes faster mobility and connectivity, and reduces traffic congestion.

This project serves as a convenient access to tourists, especially that the Municipality is known for its beautiful white sand beaches.

The project was funded under CY 2021 Regular Infrastructure Program amounting to Php 41.2 Million. 

With this project in place, it improved the community’s productivity and efficiency through a reliable highway network that allows individuals to restructure production processes and access more markets, thereby providing a wider array of goods and services at lower costs. 

The project intended to contribute to economic development and growth, and bring social benefits like access to employment, health, and educational services. 

The said project is a public asset that can open up more opportunities and promote tourism development. (DPWH MisOcc)
