Pan-ay hails as 2023 PH most outstanding SK

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Pan-ay, Clarin, Misamis Occidental, hails as the Philippine Most Outstanding Sangguniang Kabataan 2023.

Sangguniang Kabataan Pederasyon President of Clarin, Misamis Occidental, and SK Chairman Aljon Mariquit were proclaimed as National Awardees during the 2023 Search for Most Outstanding Sangguniang Kabataan in the Philippines Awards Night, June 12, 2023 held at Convention Center, Iloilo City.

As the head of the team, Mariquit thanked all his inspiration in doing his youth development projects saying,"Dili lalim akong naagian just to get here and thankful kaayo ko sa atong mga lideres sa probinsya ug sa tanang mga tawo or organisasyon nga naghatag og kinabuhi aning among mga programa ug istratehiya."

(I went through a lot just to get here, and I am very thankful to our leaders in the province and all the people or organizations that give life to our programs and strategies)

There were 483 Sangguniang Kabataan council members in the county who participated in the competition. After a very intensive document screening and validation, only the top 20 national finalists made it to the next round, which is the Final Pitching of Projects, which is the basis for choosing the top 10 best performing SKs in the country.

The Philippine Sangguniang Kabataan Awards (PSKA) are the premiere national search and a seal of excellence for SK Councils committed to building a better Philippines through local, high-impact innovations.
