𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟒𝟎 𝐛𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦b𝐚

To strengthen the Barangay Peace Action Team (BPAT) and force multipliers of the police in the overall maintenance of peace and order, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer VI Faith R. Constantino gathered law enforcement agencies for the conduct of a three-day Barangay Tanod Skills Enhancement Training and Culmination Activity at the Municipal Gym, Southwestern Poblacion, Calamba, on January 25 to 27, 2023.

DILG 10 Regional Director Wilhlem M. Suyko, CESO IV, served as a guest of honor during the training and reassured the participants of DILG’s commitment to public service.

Meanwhile, DILG Misamis Occidental Provincial Director Pablio L. Benitez, Jr., CESO V commenced the skills enhancement training through lectures on DILG Memorandum Circular 2003-42 and the role of BPATs and Barangay Tanods as well as their desirable traits and the importance of upholding service with courtesy and discipline.

The activity seeks to enhance the skills of Barangay Tanod and recognize their efforts as first responders and in crime scene prevention in keeping peace and order for national development.(DILG Misamis Occidental/PIA-10/Misamis Occidental)
