PGMO brings Pamaskong Handog 2022’ in Conception, Plaridel town

In celebration of the Christmas holiday season, the provincial government of Misamis Occidental distributed grocery packages and cash gift as its version of “Pamaskong Handog 2022” to barangay captains, officials and Barangay Health Workers (BHW) of municipalities of Conception and Plaridel.

A total of 177 barangay officials, 193 Barangay Health Workers (BHW), and 255 Barangay Northern Poblacion in Plaridel received their cash gift and food packages.

Meanwhile, 195 barangay captain, officials and BHW in Conception also received their Pamaskong Handog from the Asenso MisOcc administration.

“Ang atong pinaskohan dili lang sa atong mga katawhan sa 180 thousand families ug dili lang sa mga empleyado apil sad sa atong partner agencies nga naghatag ug pag-suporta para makab-ot nato ang tumong sa team Asenso,”Governor Henry Oaminal said.

(Our Christmas gift is not only for our people in 180 thousand families and not only for employees but including our partner agencies that provide support so that we can achieve the goal of team Asenso)

Aside from the Christmas gift, Oaminal also announced the programs and projects of the town including the concreting of Conception Circumferential Road, Visayan to Pogan Road concreting and construction of Virayan and Marugang Barangay Covered Court, as well as the support for the development of potential tourist attraction.

He also shared the upcoming project in Plaridel, the Panalsalan-Cartagena Proper, Lusaran- Macalibre, Lopez Jaena Road network Farm-to-Market Road.

In her message, Mayor Jesse Viña expressed his appreciation to the provincial government for the early Christmas gift.

"Akong dakong pasalamat sa atong Governor sa iyang pag-anhe karong adlawa alang sa panghatag sa iyaang Pamaskong Handog sa atong mga barangay officials and health workers. Salamat kaayo sa tabang para sa Concepcion dili lang sa Pasko kundili sa tanan natong panginahanglan diri sa atong lungsod,” she shared.

Meanwhile, Mayor Gadwin Handumon encouraged the Plaridelnon to work together so that they can achieve the 5Ms, Misamisnon (Plaridelnon) Live Peacefully, Prosperously and Happy.
