More than 500 BHW, barangay officials in Aloran receive Christmas gifts

A smile to their faces, more than 500 barangay officials and Barangay Health Workers (BHW) in Aloran town received their 'Pamaskong Handog 2022' from the Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental, held at Barangay Palayan, Aloran.


The package included groceries for Noche Buena, two kilos of rice, dressed chicken and cash gift.


Aloran Mayor Junipher Roa expressed his appreciation for the gifts and projects from the provincial government of Misamis Occidental.


“Salamat sa Ginoo nga naa ta karon nakatapok aron pagdawat sa atong mga Pinaskohan. Among gikalipay Governor ang inyong pag anhe sa lungsod sa Aloran. Sa ngalan sa katawhan ug mga opisyales sa Aloran daghan kaayong salamat,” he said.


(Thank God that we are here today to receive our Christmas. Governor, we are happy that you are in the town of Aloran. On behalf of the people and officials of Aloran, thank you very much)


For his part, Governor Henry Oaminal shared that this is the launching of 2022 Pamaskong Handog. He said that this program started during his first term when he was a congressman last 2013 until this year of June 2022.


“Kada tuig ako ning gihimo nga programa sa ‘Pamaskong Handog 2022’ ngadto sa mga pamilya sa tibuok distrito kay ang katuyuan akong gusto mapabati sa mga katawhan nga sa panahon sa pasko, ang unang gihunahuna ni Congressman ang mga katawhan sa iyang distrito,” the governor said.


(Every year I do this program of 'Christmas gift 2022' to families in the entire district because the purpose is to make people feel that during Christmas, the first thing Congressman thinks about is the people of his district)


He said that this Pamaskong Handog is a collaboration of the province together with the first district of Misamis Occidental and board members.


“Kami sa probinsya, distrito, ug ang local government 3-n-1 sa pagserbisyo, paghatag ug mga kaayuhan para atong makab-ot ang atong tinguha sa atong probinsya.


(We in the province, district, and the local government 3-n-1 to serve, provide benefits so that we can achieve our desire in our province)


Aside from the Pamaskong Handog, Oaminal also discussed the upcoming programs and development projects such as the construction of 39 million Tubod-Labuna bridge project. For this year, two covered court will also be funded in Aloran town.
