MisOcc LGU gives Christmas food packs, cash to Ozamiz residents

Misamis Occidental local government distributed Christmas food packs and cash as they launched the ‘Pamaskong Handog 2022’ in Ozamiz City held at City Gymnasium, December 8.

The early Christmas gift brought smiles to the barangay captains, officials and health workers as they received cash worth P25,000, P10,000 and P9,000 each from the provincial government, second district and the city government of Ozamiz.

“Karong adlawa dili lang Pamaskong Handog gikan sa syudad ang inyong madawat, madawat napod ninu ang pamaskong handog gikan ni Cong Ando Oaminal, madawat napod ninyo ang pamaskong handog gikan sa probinsya under the leadership of Governor Henry Oaminal ug dili lang pod ana kay kamo man ang strong partners sa barangay. Ang inyohang mga allowance ug Christmas allowance amo napod i-release karong adlawa,”Ozamiz Mayor Henry “Indy” Oaminal announced.

For his part, Second District Rep Sancho “Ando” Fernando urged Ozamiznon to continue to support the government in order to achieve the 5Ms (Misamisnon Magpuyong Malinawon, Malambuon ug Malipayon).

“Ang amo lang hangyo padayon ta sa panaghigugmaay, padayon ta sa panagsinabtanay, padayon ta sa panagsinuportahay kay daghan patang kinahanglan buhaton, daghan pa tang kinahanhlan ampuan aron makab-ot gyud nato ang tinguha nga gusto ipaabot sa atong gobernador nga ang Misamisnon Magpuyong Malinawon, Malambuon ug Malipayon,” Rep. Oaminal said.

Rep. Oaminal also shared the programs and projects of Asenso Misamis Occidental in Ozamiz City.

Meanwhile, Governor Henry Oaminal hoped for the smooth distribution of the ‘Pamaskong Handog 2022’ to give all the residence of Ozamiz City.

“Ang atong gipangandoy nga ika-10th year nani sa atong pamaskong handog nga atong ma-mintenar ang smooth distribution pinaagi kaninyo mga BHW, Councilors ug Kapitan kay mao usab na ang among kalipay. Tungod sa atong panag-hiusa, tungod sa atong panghigugmaay atong makab-ot ang pag-asenso sa atong dakbayan ug sa atong lalawigan,” the governor said.

The province of MisOcc headed by Governor Henry Oaminal will also give additional cash to Barangay Captain (P10,000), Barangay official (P6,000) and BHW (6,000) each before Christmas. They also got a 3n1 bag containing food products.(SMRN/PIA-10/Misamis Occidental)
