Dir. Jose R. Llacuna Jr. emphasized the importance of having an ambulance to provide faster health services to the people especially during emergencies.
“I cannot overemphasize the importance of ambulances. While promoting public health, we are also much concerned with curative and rehabilitative aspects. And our patients deserve more service from us, especially in transferring from one facility to the other," Llacuna said.
"For better services, ato gyud na i-accept na dili pareho tanan hospitals (we must accept that not all hospitals are the same), there are hospitals which provide more and better services tungod kay equipped sila. Therefore, the need for the patients to be referred to them and this is made possible safely by a good ambulance,” Llacuna added.
