In his message, Governor Oaminal shared how the PNP of Misamis Occidental had reversed its image through a successful law enforcement in dismantling the drug organization in the province.
“Aside from Philippine National Police, it is used to be Police ni Parojinog because at that time, when there were crimes committed, people would not go to the police station. They lack the confidence, they better go to Lawis and report the incident there. But with that successful law enforcement that happened, on July 31, 2017, the respect, the trust, and the confidence of the Misamisnon to the Philippine National Police were restored,” he said.
The governor vowed to continue to give his full support including financial support to the PNP.
“Kung pundo lang man ang hisgutan, dili nana problema sa (If funding is the issue, it is not a problem that should concern the) Misamis Occidental police force including the 17 municipalities and cities and all the supporting units of PPO,” Oaminal said.
