During his Command Visit at Camp Naranjo, Lower Lamac, Oroquieta City on August 23, he expressed his gratitude and satisfaction to the performance of the police in the province.

“I thank the personnel for performing so well aside from the other activities that we had and the usual operations. Yung (Our) performance from August 15-21, number 1 tayo sa (we are number 1 in ) all of the regions based on performance and we shall maintain that. Yan yung sinasabi ko na darating (That’s what I have been saying that it would come soon) naturally if all of us are doing our best in the performance of our duties,” he said.

Coop also emphasized to fully strengthen the Misamis Occidental PPO’s effort in the fight against all forms of criminality.

“I’m satisfied and happy because wala kayong problema (you have no problem). Everybody is active and everybody is healthy. Despite the pandemic, ngayon zero na ang case natin (now that we have zero case of covid for the whole region 10 so i-maintain natin para tayo ay masigla at makapaglingkod tayo ng maayos sa ating constituents or nasasakupan (so let's maintain it so that we could leave a healthy lifestyle and serve our constituents well),” the director said.

Coop shared one of the main tasks of the Police is the Ligtas Balik Eskwela 2022.

“We are performing so well aside from the other activities that we had, the patrol and the usual operations. Itong Balik Eskwela ay napakatahimik at walang untoward incidents reported and i hope it will last na ganito yung ating pag-duduty sa schools, terminals at sa mga convergence posts ay napakatiwasay at walang nangyaring problema (This Balik Eskwela is very peaceful and there were no untoward incidents reported and I hope it will last long),” he said.

He also reminded the personnel to be alert and avoid using cellphones during duty to prevent untoward incidents.

Coop told the MisOcc PPO personnel to follow the peace and order framework of the PNP chief, which is MKK=K that stands for Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan and Kaunlaran supplemented by the KASIMBAYANAN Program. (SMRN/PIA-10/Misamis Occidental)
