In line with the collective efforts of monitoring and evaluation of Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and its partner stakeholders, DILG Misamis Occidental Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) engineers in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Tangub City conducted final project inspection of two completed farm-to-market road projects in Barangays San Antonio and Sicot, Tangub City.

This is to meticulously review the totality of the projects and determine whether or not the projects meet certain predetermined standards for completion.

The inspected projects include the completion of one-Lane Road (from Purok 2 to Taguite Boundary), Barangay San Antonio and Concreting of Road at Purok 3 with cross drainage, Barangay Sicot.

The barangays including Barangay Owayan are beneficiaries of the Local Government Support Fund-Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP).

SBDP is a flagship program of President Rodrigo Duterte’s Executive Order 70 or the Whole-of-Nation Approach to pave the way for collective participation and action in harmonizing government development efforts and services to support, facilitate and pursue the country's peace agenda.

Particularly in Barangay San Antonio and Sicot, the completion of their projects brings an enormous change in the way the residents transport their local commodities, and its impact on the advent of fast and easy methods of transport in their communities.

Also, the City of Tangub is currently implementing the remaining eight projects of the same program.

The project inspection was conducted by DILG PDMU Engineers, Project Evaluation Officers, and staff engineers of the City Engineer's Office of Tangub City. (DILG MisOcc/PIA-10/Misamis Occidental)
