Atong pamilya walay saktong kaugmaon muna nga wala jud ta pasagdi sa gobyerno,” Alias Daryl said.
(I would like to thank President Rodrigo Duterte and other government officials for their willingness to help. We will not remain in poverty and we are very grateful to our president and the DPWH for giving us jobs. And hopefully, some of us who are listening right now should surrender to the Government because they are ready to help us so that they can return to their families and not stay in the mountains otherwise we will be in jail. For sure our Government will help our families and for us to start again)
Through the convergence of efforts of different government agencies, the former rebels and people of Misamis Occidental are gaining more confidence and hope in the efforts of the National Government in bringing peace and sustainable development in the province of Misamis Occidental.
